UX Designer(Fresher/Entry-Level)

Experience: 0-6 Months

Stipend: 5-10k
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

We are seeking a UX Designer Intern who is passionate about creating meaningful user experiences. Preferably from a reputed design/HCI institute (e.g., NID, IIT-IDC, NIFT, MIT-ID, Srishti or equivalent), with a strong focus on UX research, interaction/design, and documentation.
The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in qualitative & quantitative research methods, a fair understanding of UI patterns and design systems, and the ability to work with Figma for collaborative design tasks…

Key Responsibilities:

Support the team in conducting user research (qualitative and quantitative) including surveys, interviews, and usability testing.
Create and maintain structured documentation such as research reports, journey maps, personas, and design specifications.
Assist in defining user flows, wireframes, and interaction patterns.
Contribute to design systems in Figma, ensuring consistency across projects.
Collaborate with senior designers, product managers, and developers to transform insights into intuitive designs.
Apply UX best practices, accessibility standards, and usability principles in design decisions.
Stay updated with emerging UX trends, tools, and UI patterns.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Degree in Design/HCI/Psychology; candidates from reputed institutes (e.g., NID, IIT-IDC, NIFT, MIT-ID, Srishti or equivalent) preferred.
0–6 months of experience in UX/UI Design, including internships, academic projects, capstone projects, or relevant hands-on experience.
Strong understanding of UX processes (user research, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing).
Good command of documentation and reporting skills.
Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
Fair understanding of UI patterns and modern design frameworks.
Familiarity with Figma and design systems.
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
A portfolio (academic or project-based) showcasing UX work and thought process.

Good To Have

Exposure to real-world projects, internships, or capstone projects in UX/UI design.
Awareness of front-end basics to collaborate effectively with developers.
Interest in data-driven design decisions and usability analytics.
