About Us

Unitechica IT Solutions is a growing technology company specializing in web development, WordPress solutions, and digital innovation. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic PHP WordPress Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in real-world web development projects.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing, maintaining, and customizing WordPress websites.
Work with PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL to build and improve web applications.
Customize WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements.
Troubleshoot website issues and perform bug fixes.
Optimize website performance, security, and responsiveness.
Collaborate with designers and senior developers to implement new features.
Test websites across different devices and browsers.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of PHP and WordPress development.
Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
Familiarity with WordPress themes, plugins, and page builders.
Knowledge of responsive web design principles.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to learn quickly and work in a team environment.
Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Git version control.
Understanding of WordPress hooks, filters, and custom post types.
Basic knowledge of SEO and website optimization.
Experience with WooCommerce is a plus.
