- Aeroworks Technologies is looking for a highly motivated Aerospace Engineer to join our core founding team and help shape the design, architecture, and performance of our hydrogen drone platform from concept to reality.
- This is a hands-on role with direct collaboration with the Founders and Co-Founders. You will contribute to the complete product development lifecycle, including system architecture, aircraft design, performance analysis, prototyping support, testing preparation, and future product development.
What You Will Work On
- UAV configuration and airframe architecture
- Aircraft conceptual and detailed design
- 3D CAD modeling and design development
- Weight estimation, balance, and center of gravity analysis
- Aerodynamics and flight performance optimization
- Structural design and load analysis
- Integration of propulsion, hydrogen, and avionics systems
- Technical documentation, engineering reports, and design reviews
- Collaboration with Mechanical, Electrical, and Hydrogen Systems Engineers
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field
- Strong understanding of aerodynamics, flight mechanics, and aircraft design
- Experience in UAV/drone design and development
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, Fusion 360, NX, or similar
- Knowledge of aircraft structures, stability, control, and performance analysis
- Ability to perform engineering calculations and design trade-off studies
- Understanding of weight optimization and system integration
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a startup environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with electric, hybrid, or hydrogen-powered UAVs
- Familiarity with fuel-cell technologies and hydrogen systems
- Knowledge of CFD, FEA, or simulation tools
- Experience with prototyping, manufacturing, and testing
- Experience preparing detailed engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Understanding of aviation regulations and UAV certification requirements
