Full job description

The Fabrication Shop Supervisor is responsible for supervising daily fabrication shop activities, ensuring production targets, quality standards, safety compliance, manpower management, and timely completion of fabrication jobs. The role involves coordinating with production planning, quality control, maintenance, and dispatch teams to achieve efficient workshop operations.

Production Supervision

Supervise daily fabrication activities including cutting, welding, grinding, fitting, assembly, and finishing.
Ensure production schedules are achieved as per delivery commitments.
Monitor machine utilization and manpower productivity.
Allocate work efficiently to welders, fitters, helpers, machine operators, and subcontract workers.
Minimize downtime and production delays.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of fabrication processes and welding methods.
Ability to read fabrication drawings and GA drawings.
Knowledge of welding symbols and fabrication tolerances.
Good leadership and manpower handling skills.
Understanding of shop floor safety practices.
Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
Basic computer knowledge for reporting and documentation.

Pay: ₹18,506.08 - ₹33,024.44 per month
