Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Project Coordinator Intern with an Electronics/Electrical Engineering background to support the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering and product development projects. The intern will work closely with hardware, firmware, testing, manufacturing, and operations teams to track project milestones, maintain documentation, and ensure timely closure of action items.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to project management within the Electronics, IoT, and EV domain.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination
- Assist in planning, tracking, and monitoring engineering project activities.
- Coordinate with Hardware, Firmware, Testing, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to ensure timely execution of project deliverables.
- Track project schedules, milestones, dependencies, and risks.
- Follow up with stakeholders on pending action items and project updates.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain project plans, trackers, meeting minutes, and status reports.
- Prepare weekly project progress reports and dashboards.
- Ensure all engineering and project documentation is organized and up to date.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Support communication between engineering, operations, procurement, and quality teams.
- Coordinate project review meetings and maintain action-item trackers.
- Assist in managing project timelines and escalation of critical issues.
Engineering Support
- Assist in BOM tracking, prototype tracking, and engineering change management activities.
- Support product validation, testing schedules, and project documentation reviews.
- Help monitor project deliverables related to electronics hardware development and deployment.
Eligibility Criteria
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong interest in Project Management, Electronics Product Development, IoT, EV Technology, or Embedded Systems.
- Available for a full-time internship of 3–6 months.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of electronic components, circuits, and embedded systems.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with EV, Battery Management Systems (BMS), IoT devices, or embedded electronics.
- Exposure to project management tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Trello, or Asana.
- Understanding of PCB development lifecycle and product development processes.
