We're looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to own ML features from model development through production release. You'll train and improve models yourself — not just integrate models others built — and you'll design the data, training, and inference systems that make creative intelligence work for enterprise customers. What you'll do
You'll own ML system design for major features — from scoping the problem through training, deployment, monitoring, and iteration. You'll make trade-offs on accuracy, latency, cost, and data quality as you deliver models that ship to production.
Develop and train models for creative understanding across vision, video, and language
Build datasets, labels, and features from LLMs, subject-matter experts, and user activity
Implement training, evaluation, and inference pipelines on Spark, Kubernetes, and GPU/CPU environments
Profile and improve model and pipeline performance for production workloads
Define test plans and release criteria for the ML components you own
You'll partner with product managers, research scientists, and engineers to connect your work to customer-facing capabilities — insights, recommendations, featurization, and agent context tools. You'll contribute to design reviews, mentor junior engineers, and help interview candidates for the team.
What you need to succeed
You have a Master's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, or a PhD and 3+ years — or equivalent depth of impact. You have shipped ML models to production and improved them based on real usage and metrics.
Strong Python and PyTorch for model development and deployment
Deep learning experience in at least one of: computer vision, video, NLP, or generative AI (LLM/VLM fine-tuning, embeddings, or RAG)
Hands-on work across the ML lifecycle: data prep, training, evaluation, inference, and monitoring
Experience with distributed data processing or cloud platforms (Spark, Kubernetes, GCP, AWS, or Azure)
Ability to break down complex ML problems and communicate trade-offs to teammates and stakeholders
You take ownership of broad, complex goals and see them through with minimal day-to-day direction. Experience with recommendation systems, multi-modal ML, or marketing and creative content platforms is a plus.
