Position Overview

We are looking for a creative, confident, and social-media-savvy Social Media Intern who is passionate about content creation and digital marketing. The ideal candidate should be comfortable appearing on camera, creating engaging short-form content, identifying trends, and supporting the day-to-day management of social media channels. This role is ideal for someone looking to build hands-on experience in content marketing, social media strategy, and personal branding.

Key Responsibilities

Create engaging short-form video content for Instagram Reels, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, and other social media platforms.
Be comfortable appearing on camera for educational, promotional, and behind-the-scenes content.
Assist in developing monthly content calendars aligned with marketing objectives.
Research industry trends, viral content formats, and platform updates.
Generate creative content ideas for brands across multiple industries.
Write captions, hooks, and basic copy for social media posts.
Coordinate with designers, content writers, and marketing teams to execute campaigns.
Schedule and publish content across social media platforms.
Monitor content performance and provide basic engagement and analytics reports.
Assist with script creation and video planning.
Repurpose long-form content into short-form social media assets.
Support personal branding initiatives for founders, clients, and company leadership.
Maintain content consistency, brand voice, and visual quality across platforms.
Engage with followers, comments, and messages where required.

Skills & Requirements

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media, Business, or a related field.
Comfortable speaking on camera and creating video-based content.
Strong understanding of Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, and emerging social media platforms.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic understanding of content creation, storytelling, and audience engagement.
Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, or similar content creation tools.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to research trends and transform ideas into engaging content.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced agency environment.
Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.
Knowledge of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms is a plus.
