Job Description – Engineer / Senior Engineer – IT Infrastructure Position

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive IT Infrastructure Engineer to manage and maintain the organization's complete IT ecosystem. The role is responsible for ensuring the availability, security, reliability, and scalability of all IT infrastructure, assets, networks, systems, and data. The ideal candidate will act as the primary custodian of the company's IT environment, driving best practices in infrastructure management, cybersecurity, asset governance, and user support.
Key Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure Management
- Manage and maintain the organization's complete IT infrastructure, including servers, desktops, laptops, networking equipment, printers, storage devices, and cloud services.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of IT systems and services.
- Plan, implement, and monitor infrastructure upgrades, expansions, and technology refresh initiatives.
- Maintain network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls, switches, and routers.
IT Asset Management
- Own and manage the complete lifecycle of IT assets from procurement to disposal.
- Maintain accurate asset inventories, records, warranties, licenses, and software subscriptions.
- Conduct periodic audits and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Optimize asset utilization and cost management.
Information & Cyber Security
- Implement and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Manage endpoint security, antivirus, firewalls, email security, and access controls.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, vulnerabilities, and threats.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity best practices and organizational security requirements.
- Conduct regular security assessments and user awareness programs.
Data Security & Backup Management
- Develop and maintain data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and availability across all systems.
- Manage backup solutions and periodically validate restoration processes.
- Implement data retention and access control policies.
Cloud & Microsoft 365 Administration
- Administer Microsoft 365 environment including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Intune, and Entra ID.
- Manage user accounts, licenses, permissions, and security configurations.
- Support cloud infrastructure and SaaS applications used across the organization.
IT Operations & User Support
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, network, and application issues.
- Manage service requests and incidents within agreed SLAs.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for support and procurement.
- Ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding of employees from an IT perspective.
Compliance & Governance
- Establish and maintain IT policies, SOPs, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, security requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Conduct periodic audits of systems, access rights, and IT assets.
- Prepare reports and dashboards on IT infrastructure health, asset utilization, and security posture.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 3–8 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, System Administration, or IT Operations.
- Experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure and security environments.

Pay: ₹396,486.71 - ₹700,000.00 per year
