In this role, you will work closely with our existing North America and Europe-based architects to implement complex technical solutions, provide expertise in specialized areas, and contribute to the design of scalable, secure platform solutions supporting 50+ development teams.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li><b>Advanced Technical Implementation:</b> Build sophisticated platform and infrastructure automation solutions using Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, and cloud-native technologies</li><li><b>Technical Expertise & Consultation:</b> Provide deep technical knowledge in specialized areas, contributing to design decisions and supporting implementation approaches</li><li><b>Technology Adoption & Learning:</b> Quickly evaluate, learn, and implement new platform technologies as the platform evolves and expands to meet growing organizational needs</li><li><b>CI/CD Migration Implementation:</b> Execute conversion projects from Jenkins and Azure DevOps to GitHub Actions, automating manual steps, shifting left and eliminating waste in the process</li><li><b>Cross-Functional Partnership:</b> Work with IT, Security, and Operations teams to align platform capabilities with enterprise requirements and compliance frameworks</li><li><b>Code Quality & Standards:</b> Maintain high code quality through reviews, documentation as code, and adherence to platform engineering best practices</li><li><b>AI Fluency: </b>Comfortable leveraging AI Code Assistants to amplify skills and increase speed of delivery</li></ul><p><b>Required Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>7+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering</li><li><b>Expert-level proficiency with core platform technologies:</b><ul><li>Infrastructure as Code: Terraform</li><li>Container Orchestration: Kubernetes and Helm</li><li>CI/CD: GitHub Actions, and familiarity with adoption/migration patterns from other orchestration frameworks (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.)</li><li>Cloud Platforms: AWS / Azure expertise and familiarity with the relevant Cloud Adoption Frameworks</li><li>Cloud networking fundamentals, secrets management practices, and multi-tenant deployment patterns including network segmentation, secure credential handling, and tenant isolation strategies</li></ul></li><li>Strong <span>programming/scripting</span> skills in Python (required) and experience with modern software development practices</li><li><b>Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies</b> and adapt to evolving platform Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)</li><li>Infrastructure security, compliance automation, and policy-as-code frameworks</li><li>Experience with GCP, OCI, or other cloud platforms</li></ul><p><b>Developer Experience Specialization:</b></p><ul><li>Developer portal platforms or internal tooling development experience</li><li>Web development technologies and self-service
