Full job description

Job Title: Salesforce Automation QA Engineer

Location: Trivandrum / Kochi / Remote (India)

Experience: 5+ Years

Employment Type: Contract / Full-Time

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Automation QA Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Salesforce testing, automation frameworks, API testing, and end-to-end quality assurance processes. The candidate will work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure high-quality Salesforce implementations and releases.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Salesforce applications.
Validate Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Lightning components.
Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
Develop and execute automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver, Java, and TestNG.
Perform API testing using REST Assured, Postman, or similar tools.
Analyze business requirements and create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
Collaborate with development teams to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and release planning.
Execute test cycles and provide detailed status reports to stakeholders.
Support CI/CD pipelines and automation execution through Jenkins or similar tools.
Ensure quality standards and best practices are followed throughout the software development lifecycle.
Work with cross-functional teams to validate integrations between Salesforce and third-party applications.

Required Skills:

5+ years of experience in QA and Test Automation.
Hands-on experience in Salesforce Testing.
Strong experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud.
Expertise in Selenium WebDriver with Java.
Experience with TestNG, Maven, and automation frameworks.
Strong knowledge of Salesforce Lightning Experience.
Experience in API testing using REST Assured or Postman.
Experience with Jira and defect management tools.
Good understanding of SQL and database validation.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

Salesforce Certifications (Administrator, Platform App Builder, or related).
Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Experience Cloud, or Marketing Cloud.
Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
Exposure to performance testing tools is an added advantage.
