HOQ is a fast-growing fine jewelry brand focused on exceptional design, customer experience, and operational excellence. As we scale our retail, manufacturing, and e-commerce operations, we are undertaking a digital transformation initiative to build a fully integrated business systems ecosystem.
We are migrating from our legacy ERP to ERPNext and building a connected technology stack that integrates ERP, CRM, Shopify, WhatsApp engagement, inventory management, manufacturing operations, and business reporting.
We are looking for a highly motivated ERP & Business Systems Lead to own and drive this transformation internally.
Role Overview
This role will serve as the internal owner of HOQ's business systems and digital operations.
The successful candidate will work directly with the Founder and coordinate with external ERP consultants, developers, and internal teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption of ERPNext and related systems.
The objective is to create a single source of truth for customers, inventory, orders, manufacturing, and business performance.
Key Responsibilities
ERPNext Migration
- Act as the internal project owner for migration from the existing ERP to ERPNext.
- Document business processes and requirements.
- Coordinate with implementation partners and developers.
- Assist with testing, user training, and system rollout.
- Ensure smooth adoption across departments.
CRM & Customer Data Management
- Support implementation and management of ERPNext CRM.
- Maintain accurate customer and lead data.
- Help improve sales pipeline visibility and customer tracking.
- Ensure customer information is consistently maintained across systems.
Shopify Integration
- Coordinate integration between Shopify and ERPNext.
- Monitor synchronization of products, inventory, customers, and orders.
- Assist in maintaining product catalogs and operational workflows.
WhatsApp Tool Operations
- Support integration of Whatsapp tool with ERPNext CRM.
- Help create workflows for lead management, follow-ups, customer engagement, and service communication.
- Monitor performance and customer response metrics.
Reporting & Dashboards
- Build and maintain operational dashboards.
- Track key business metrics across sales, inventory, production, customer service, and marketing.
- Support KRA and KPI reporting for management reviews.
- Create reports that improve decision-making and accountability.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes.
- Improve data accuracy and reporting reliability.
- Work closely with department heads to streamline workflows.
- Drive adoption of systems and best practices across the organization.
Desired Skills
- Experience with ERP systems such as ERPNext, Odoo, Zoho, or similar.
- Understanding of CRM and sales processes.
- Strong Excel and reporting skills.
- Working knowledge of SQL and data analysis.
- Familiarity with Shopify or e-commerce operations.
- Ability to manage external vendors and consultants.
- Excellent communication and project coordination skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in ERP implementation, business systems, operations, or technology projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Commerce, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
- Exposure to manufacturing, retail, jewelry, or e-commerce environments is an advantage.
- Prior ERPNext experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Success Metrics
Within the first 12 months, the candidate will be expected to:
- Support successful migration to ERPNext.
- Establish reliable integrations between ERPNext, Shopify, and SagePilot.
- Improve visibility into business performance through dashboards and reporting.
- Improve data accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Enable management-level KPI and KRA tracking across departments.
- Become the internal owner of HOQ's business systems ecosystem.

Mon-Sat 10 am to 630 pm. (2nd Saturdays off)
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
