Software Tester Trainee

Job Type: Full-Time Trainee

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Software Tester Trainee to join our team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or candidates who are passionate about software quality assurance and eager to build a career in software testing.

The trainee will work closely with developers and project teams to ensure that software applications meet quality standards and deliver an excellent user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Learn and understand software testing methodologies and QA processes.
Execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications.
Identify, document, and track software defects and issues.
Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.
Prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test reports.
Collaborate with developers, designers, and project managers.
Ensure applications function correctly across different devices and browsers.
Participate in requirement analysis and product discussions.
Maintain proper documentation of testing activities.

Required Skills

Basic understanding of Software Testing and Quality Assurance concepts.
Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).
Familiarity with web and mobile applications.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Basic knowledge of databases and SQL is an advantage.
Familiarity with bug tracking tools is a plus.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, BCA, MCA, B.Tech, BSc Computer Science, or related fields.
Freshers are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Skills (Optional)

Knowledge of automation testing tools such as Selenium is an added advantage.
Basic understanding of API testing tools such as Postman.
Basic understanding of Agile methodologies.
