Genesys is looking for a talented Curriculum Designer with experience in technical writing, and educational content development to produce world-class training courses for industry professionals. This individual will collaborate with internal teams and subject matter experts to create technical training for different modalities including ILT/VILT, e-learning, and videos.
Core Responsibilities:

Write high-quality technical content after conducting thorough research, supported by subject matter experts

Design well-structured, engaging courses about Genesys software products and solutions for our customers, channel partners, and employees directly contributing to Beyond sales

Seamlessly collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams (product managers, designers, developers, and technical instructors) working at different locations and time zones
-
Work independently to deliver content on schedule, recognizing the need to have flexible hours to accommodate team members in multiple time zones

Perform thorough reviews of your work and those of your peers

Track and report errors for process and performance improvement
Must Haves:

Excellent English communication skills to collaborate and communicate with a global team

Minimum four years of experience in a writing-focused role

Ability to understand technical concepts and produce content in a simple, clear, and concise manner that global audiences can easily understand

Razor-sharp attention to detail

Exceptional editing and proofreading skills to ensure text is well-written, logically structured, and adheres to our style guide

Knowledge of industry style rules (Microsoft Style)

Enthusiasm to learn more about customer experience and contact-center solutions
Preferred Skills:

Experience with recording screencasts or similar video content

Experience with Articulate content development suite (i.e., Storyline, Rise) and Adobe InDesign

Basic knowledge of instructional design and application to course writing & development
