About the Role

Are you eager to build a strong foundation in accounting and gain hands-on experience in a growing business environment? WEXO Ventures Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Accounts Intern to join our team.

In this role, you will work closely with experienced team members, learn how day-to-day finance operations are managed, and contribute to real accounting activities. You will receive guidance and mentorship while developing practical skills in bookkeeping, financial documentation, reconciliations, reporting, and accounting tools.

This internship is an excellent opportunity for students and fresh graduates who want to explore a career in accounting, strengthen their professional skills, and gain meaningful experience that can support future career growth.

What You’ll Learn

How accounting and bookkeeping processes work in a business.
How to record and organize financial transactions.
How invoices, bills, receipts, and supporting documents are managed.
How bank and cash reconciliations are prepared.
How accounts payable and accounts receivable activities are handled.
How basic financial reports and spreadsheets are created.
How accounting data is reviewed for accuracy.
How finance teams collaborate with other departments.
How to use Excel and, where applicable, accounting software such as Tally Prime.
Professional practices related to communication, organization, confidentiality, and time management.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Assist with daily accounting and bookkeeping activities under the guidance of the accounts team.
Record and maintain financial transactions accurately.
Assist with sales, purchase, income, and expense entries.
Organize and maintain invoices, bills, receipts, and other financial documents.
Support bank and cash reconciliation activities.
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Prepare and maintain basic financial reports and spreadsheets.
Review invoices and supporting documents for completeness and accuracy.
Help track company expenses and payments.
Maintain well-organized digital records of accounting documents.
Support the accounts team during monthly and periodic closing activities.
Coordinate with other departments to collect required financial information.
Perform accounting-related data entry with attention to detail.
Take on additional finance and accounting tasks as you build confidence and capability.

Required Skills

Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
Good knowledge of MS Excel.
Familiarity with Tally Prime is an advantage.
Good numerical and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently in a work-from-home environment.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to accept feedback and apply it to improve performance.

Eligibility

B.Com / M.Com / BBA Finance / equivalent students or fresh graduates.
Candidates with basic accounting knowledge are preferred.
Freshers are welcome to apply.
