Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lead Solution Architect / Automation Delivery Lead for a long-term enterprise automation initiative. This role requires a highly skilled professional who can combine strong technical architecture expertise with leadership and delivery management capabilities.
The ideal candidate will lead a team of Solution Architects and Automation Engineers, define technical strategy, drive architectural decisions, and ensure successful delivery across multiple automation workstreams. The successful candidate will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring scalable, secure, and governance-driven automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of Solution Architects and Automation Engineers.
- Drive end-to-end solution ownership and architectural governance.
- Define and communicate technical strategy, standards, and roadmap.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Ensure technical alignment across multiple teams and initiatives.
- Support delivery teams by removing technical blockers and mitigating risks.
- Establish and promote Automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.
- Ensure solution scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability.
- Provide hands-on technical guidance whenever required while maintaining overall architectural ownership.
- Drive adoption of modern engineering, automation, and platform practices across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience as a Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect, Technical Lead, or similar leadership role.
- Proven track record of leading architecture, engineering, or automation teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working in large-scale, complex enterprise environments.
- Deep understanding of automation, infrastructure, and platform engineering concepts.
- Demonstrated experience in driving technical transformation and organizational adoption initiatives.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Preferred Technical Skills
Experience with multiple technologies and disciplines including:
- Terraform
- Ansible
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- CI/CD Pipelines
- DevOps Practices
- Microsoft Azure or other Cloud Platforms
- Python or similar scripting/programming languages
- Automation Frameworks and Governance Models
- Platform Engineering
- Enterprise Architecture and Solution Design
