Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Telecaller to support the admission and marketing team by handling student enquiries and generating qualified leads for our training programs. The candidate will be responsible for contacting prospective students, explaining course details, and scheduling counselling sessions for the admission team.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead Calling & Follow-up
- Call prospective students from the lead database provided by the academy.
- Explain the basic details of courses offered by Des-Tech Academy.
- Follow up regularly with interested candidates.
Lead Generation
- Identify potential students interested in technical training programs.
- Encourage students to visit the academy for counselling and course orientation.
Appointment Scheduling
- Schedule appointments or counselling sessions for the Admission Manager or Academic Counsellor.
- Coordinate with the admissions team for student visits.
Data Management
- Maintain accurate records of calls, enquiries, and follow-ups.
- Update lead status in the database or CRM system.
Customer Interaction
- Handle basic questions from students regarding courses, duration, eligibility, and fees.
- Maintain a polite and professional communication style.
Required Skills
- Good communication skills in Malayalam and English
- Basic telephone etiquette and persuasion skills
- Ability to handle a large number of calls daily
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel / CRM entry)
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Qualification
- Any Degree / Diploma / Plus Two
- Freshers can also apply
Experience
- 0 – 2 years experience in telecalling, customer support, or sales preferred.
