Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Java Automation Tester with strong expertise in automation frameworks and modern testing tools. The ideal candidate should have solid Java programming skills, hands-on experience in test automation, and the ability to leverage AI tools to improve testing efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java-based frameworks
- Implement BDD (Behavior Driven Development) practices using Cucumber
- Execute and manage test suites using JUnit/TestNG frameworks
- Perform UI automation testing using modern tools
- Utilize JMeter for performance and load testing
- Work with Playwright for UI automation (good to have)
- Leverage AI tools (Copilot, Claude, etc.) to accelerate test script creation, debugging, and documentation
- Contribute to AI-driven testing approaches and improvements
- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure quality deliverables
- Identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience in Java programming
- Extensive experience with Cucumber
- Proficiency in TestNG / JUnit frameworks
- Good knowledge of automation testing principles and best practices
- Awareness of AI tools and AI-driven testing approaches
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proactive approach with strong ownership mindset
Good to Have Skills
- Experience with JMeter
- Hands-on experience with Playwright
- Exposure to CI/CD practices
