Role Overview
Insurance is a trillion-dollar industry and AI is reshaping every part of it. UST's Insurance CoE is hiring fresh graduates to become AI-enabled Business Analysts, trained to think at the intersection of domain expertise, business analysis, and AI, a combination that is exceptionally rare and highly valued across the global insurance industry.
Traditional BAs document what exists. AI-enabled BAs reimagine what's possible.

Eligibility Criteria
Education:
B.Sc. in Statistics (mandatory)
M.Sc. in Statistics / Actuarial Science / Actuarial Mathematics (preferred)
Year of Passing: 2025/26 (0-1 year experience)
Actuarial Exams (preferred but not mandatory):
Cleared / pursuing 1-3 actuarial papers (IFoA / IAI / SOA)
Key Responsibilities
Build strong domain expertise across insurance lines (P&C, L&A) and core processes (underwriting, claims, policy admin)
Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements (BRDs, FRDs, use cases, process flows) leveraging AI tools to accelerate documentation and analysis
Collaborate with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and tech teams to translate business needs into solutions
Support client engagements, including analysis, documentation, and AI-augmented solution validation activities
Contribute to pre-sales, research, and capability development for the insurance practice
Participate in testing (UAT), defect tracking, and solution quality assurance
Communicate complex concepts effectively to technical and non-technical audiences
Use AI and GenAI tools to enhance productivity across the BA lifecycle from requirements gathering to stakeholder communication
Drive continuous learning, pursue relevant certifications, and identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and AI-driven innovation
Skill Requirements
Core Skills
Strong understanding of:
Probability, Statistics & Data Interpretation
Business communication & documentation
Proficiency in:
Excel (Advanced)
SQL / Data handling (preferred)
Basic exposure to R / Python (preferred)
AI & Future-Ready Skills
Willingness to learn and apply AI/GenAI tools in day-to-day work
Comfort with prompt engineering structuring clear instructions to get quality outputs from AI systems
Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs validate, challenge, and refine rather than accept blindly
Analytical & Behavioural Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
Attention to detail and data accuracy
Good communication & stakeholder interaction skills
Ability to work in a structured, process-driven environment
Domain Exposure (Good to Have)
Basic understanding of:
Insurance domain (Life / Health / P&C)
Underwriting, claims, policy lifecycle
Actuarial concepts (pricing, reserving, mortality, risk)
Exposure to:
AI tools for data analysis, summarization, or content generation
US / Middle East / EUR markets (academic or internship level)
