We are looking for a performance-driven SEO Specialist to manage and scale organic growth across multiple travel and visa websites. The role requires strong expertise in ranking, traffic growth, organic lead generation and has hands-on knowledge with Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).
You will own 2–4 websites, primarily across the Travel & Tourism domains. You must understand these categories deeply and be able to run strategy, execution, monitoring, and reporting independently, without hand-holding.
Key Responsibilities
1. SEO Strategy & Execution
● Develop and execute SEO strategies across multiple domains (visa, travel, tours).
● Improve keyword rankings, organic traffic, and conversions.
● Manage on-page, off-page, and technical SEO activities end-to-end.
2. Technical SEO
● Identify and resolve indexing issues, crawl errors, and performance gaps.
● Work closely with developers on Core Web Vitals, site speed, and technical fixes.
● Ensure proper site structure, internal linking, and hreflang implementation for international targeting.
3. Content Strategy & Optimization
● Plan and optimize high-intent landing pages (visa, visa change, travel routes).
● Guide content writers to align with search intent and conversion goals.
● Ensure content accuracy, consistency, and strong trust signals.
4. Performance Tracking & Reporting
● Monitor performance using Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush, Ahrefs.
● Track rankings, traffic, leads, and conversions.
● Analyze performance drops (e.g., after Google updates) and implement recovery strategies.
5. Competitor & Market Analysis
● Analyze competitor websites across different regions.
● Identify keyword gaps, backlink opportunities, and content improvements.
6. Off-Page SEO & Authority Building
● Build high-quality backlinks through outreach, partnerships, and PR collaborations.
● Improve domain authority and overall website credibility.
7. AI Visibility Understanding (AEO / GEO)
● Understand evolving search trends including Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).
● Structure content to improve visibility across modern search experiences (featured snippets, AI-driven results, etc.)
● Test prompts to understand when and why brands get mentioned
● Improve citation probability by strengthening trust signals and expert positioning
8. Conversion-Focused Optimization
● Work closely with marketing and paid media teams to improve lead quality.
● Optimize landing pages for better conversion rates (CRO mindset).
Key Requirements
● 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience (travel/visa industry preferred).
● Strong understanding of Google algorithms, E-E-A-T, and search intent.
● Experience managing multiple websites or international SEO projects.
● Proven track record of improving rankings and generating leads.
● Expertise in tools like Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush/Ahrefs
● Basic understanding of technical SEO, HTML
