As part of 1M1B’s mission to empower youth with AI Skills, we are looking for passionate peopleto deliver engaging workshops and support learners in their journey to build foundational AI skills. This is a short-term opportunity to create real impact in underserved communities across India.
Position Overview:
The facilitator will lead sessions on Artificial Intelligence, introduce participants to curated courses and implement the program in colleges.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Training Delivery
- Deliver engaging, hands-on training sessions in engineering colleges (offline/online/hybrid)
- Train students on relevant technical domains (e.g., AI, data analytics, programming, green tech—customize based on your program)
- Design and execute practical learning modules, assignments, and capstone projects
- Adapt training methodologies to different student skill levels and college environments
- Ensure high student engagement, attendance, and learning outcomes
2. Curriculum & Content Development
- Customize and improve training content based on industry trends and student needs
- Develop training materials, presentations, assessments, and case studies
- Integrate real-world applications and project-based learning into sessions
- Continuously update content to align with emerging technologies and job market demands
3. College Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned colleges
- Build and maintain strong relationships with: Principals, HODs
- Coordinate training schedules, sessions, and program rollouts
- Ensure smooth communication between internal teams and college stakeholders
4. Program Execution & Coordination
- Plan and execute end-to-end training programs across multiple colleges
- Track student progress, attendance, and completion rates
- Support onboarding of new colleges into the program
- Coordinate logistics for sessions, workshops, and events (e.g., job melas, hackathons)
5. Student Mentorship & Career Guidance
- Mentor students on career pathways, technical skills, and industry readiness
- Support students in completing projects, internships, and job simulations
- Guide students on resume building, interview prep, and employability skills
6. Monitoring, Reporting & Outcomes
- Track key metrics: training completion, student performance, placement readiness
- Share regular progress updates and reports with internal teams
- Identify gaps and suggest improvements in training delivery and engagement
- Contribute to impact reporting
7. Industry & Ecosystem Alignment
- Stay updated on latest technology trends and industry requirements
- Bring insights from industry into training sessions
- Support alignment of training programs with job market needs
Location: Bangalore, Karnataka
Who Can Apply:
- 4+ years of experience in technical training / teaching / L&D
- Strong technical expertise in at least one domain (e.g., Python, AI/ML, Data Analytics, Java etc.)
- Experience working with engineering colleges or academic institutions (strong plus)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building ability
- Ability to manage multiple colleges/programs simultaneously
- Passion for skilling, education, and student impact
- Strong communication in English, Hindi, and/or relevant regional language.
- Experience in training, youth programs, or community engagement preferred but not mandatory.
- Comfortable with digital tools and mobile/web-based platforms.
- Willing to travel locally for sessions in target regions.
