About the Role: Search is evolving, and so are we. We are looking for a forward-thinking and tech-savvy SEO Intern to help us navigate the shift from traditional search engines to Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).

This is not just about keywords and backlinks; it's about optimizing for AI-driven answers (ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity). If you understand how Large Language Models (LLMs) retrieve information and are comfortable digging into the technical side of the web, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do:

Pioneer GEO Strategies: Research and experiment with optimization techniques specifically for AI search engines (optimizing for "answer engines" vs. "link engines").
Technical SEO & Structured Data: Implement and validate Schema markup (JSON-LD) to ensure AI models can easily parse and understand our entity data.
Content Engineering: Collaborate with content teams to structure content (lists, tables, direct answers) that maximizes visibility in Featured Snippets and AI snapshots.
Data-Driven Analysis: Go beyond basic analytics; use tools to analyze click-through rates (CTR) in an AI-first world and track brand mentions in LLM outputs.
Tech-Savvy Automation: Utilize AI tools and basic scripting (e.g., Python or Excel macros) to automate repetitive SEO tasks and keyword research.
Core SEO Execution: Continue to support fundamental SEO strategies, including on-page optimization, site speed monitoring, and link-building campaigns.

What We’re Looking For:

Tech-Savvy Mindset: You are comfortable with HTML/CSS and understand the technical architecture of a website. Familiarity with Python for SEO or data handling is a huge plus.
Understanding of LLMs: You know how ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude work, and you are curious about how they source their citations.
Analytical & Logical: You have a strong analytical mindset and can troubleshoot why a page isn't ranking (or being cited by AI) using logic and data.
Fast Learner: The SEO landscape changes weekly. You must have a genuine eagerness to learn the latest algorithm updates and industry news.
Communication Skills: You can explain complex technical concepts to non-technical team members.

Who Should Apply:

Students or recent graduates with a background in Computer Science, IT, Marketing, or Data Science.
Self-starters who have experimented with building their own websites or blogs.
