House of EdTech is looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack Developer to build, scale, and optimize high-performance web applications serving millions of learners across India and global markets. This role requires expertise in both frontend and backend development, strong experience with API integrations, modern JavaScript frameworks, and scalable database architecture.
You will work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to develop robust applications using Next.js, React.js, Node.js, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and TypeScript.

Key ResponsibilitiesFull Stack Development
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications.
- Build modern, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces using Next.js and React.js.
- Develop secure and efficient backend services using Node.js and Bun.
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following best engineering practices.
API Development & Integration
- Develop RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, CRM systems, analytics tools, and external platforms.
- Optimize API performance, security, and scalability.
- Ensure seamless communication between frontend and backend systems.
Database Management
- Design and optimize MongoDB and PostgreSQL databases.
- Implement indexing, caching, and query optimization techniques.
- Work with Prisma and Drizzle ORM for scalable database architecture.
- Maintain data integrity, security, and performance.
Performance & Scalability
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot bottlenecks.
- Implement caching solutions using Redis.
- Improve application speed, reliability, and scalability.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce development standards.
Collaboration
- Work closely with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, QA Engineers, and stakeholders.
- Participate in sprint planning, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to engineering best practices.
Required QualificationsExperience
- 3–8 years of professional Full Stack Development experience.
- Proven experience building production-grade web applications.
- Experience working in high-growth startups, SaaS, EdTech, or technology companies is preferred.
Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in Next.js and React.js.
- Excellent command of JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Strong backend development experience with Node.js.
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and microservices.
- Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and web security best practices.
- Experience with Git, version control workflows, and deployment pipelines.
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong ownership mindset and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Bun.sh, Elysia.js, or Hono.js.
- Familiarity with Redis caching.
- Experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
- Knowledge of AWS, Cloudflare, Vercel, and Railway.
- Experience with GraphQL and Serverless Architecture.
- Exposure to monitoring tools such as Sentry, DataDog, or New Relic.
- Prior experience in EdTech, SaaS, or high-traffic platforms.
