This role is ideal for someone who spends time exploring new technologies, experimenting with AI tools, reviewing code, and understanding how software systems work.
About the Role
As a Technical Interview Coach, you will work closely with candidates preparing for technical interviews in the United States.
You will conduct mock interviews, evaluate technical skills, review code, identify improvement areas, and help candidates prepare for real-world technical interviews.
This is not a software development role. It is a technical coaching, assessment, and mentorship role that requires strong technical understanding and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct technical mock interviews for software developers, QA engineers, data professionals, and IT candidates
- Evaluate coding, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Review resumes and identify technical strengths and gaps
- Analyze code to identify bugs, errors, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities
- Explain technical concepts, technologies, and best practices in simple language
- Create customized interview preparation plans for candidates
- Research interview trends, assessment patterns, and hiring expectations in the US market
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, frameworks, programming languages, and AI tools
- Utilize platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and similar tools to enhance candidate preparation
- Provide detailed feedback and actionable recommendations
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of programming fundamentals
- Working knowledge of one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, .NET, or related technologies
- Excellent debugging and code-review skills
- Strong logical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Ability to identify mistakes and explain solutions clearly
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
- Genuine interest in technology, coding, AI tools, and continuous learning
- Comfortable learning and experimenting with new tools and technologies
