Role Overview
We are looking for a creative, analytical, and execution-focused Digital Marketing Intern to support RUU AI’s marketing, advertising, employer branding, and growth initiatives.
This is not an internship where you will only observe campaigns or complete theoretical assignments. You will receive hands-on experience working on live marketing campaigns, real advertising accounts, actual company budgets, and measurable business objectives.
You will help promote RUU AI’s products, services, job opportunities, company updates, and employer brand across multiple digital channels.
The selected intern will gain practical exposure to paid advertising, content marketing, social media management, lead generation, campaign analytics, job posting, recruitment marketing, and international brand communication.
Key ResponsibilitiesPaid Advertising and Campaign Management
● Assist in planning, creating, launching, and optimizing paid advertising campaigns.
● Gain hands-on experience with platforms such as:
○ Meta Ads Manager
○ Google Ads
○ LinkedIn Campaign Manager
○ YouTube Ads
○ Instagram Ads
○ Facebook Ads
○ TikTok Ads, where applicable
○ Other relevant advertising and promotional platforms
● Work with real advertising budgets under the supervision of the marketing team.
● Assist with audience research, targeting, retargeting, lookalike audiences, and campaign segmentation.
● Create and test different campaign objectives, creatives, headlines, descriptions, and calls to action.
● Monitor advertising spend, cost per lead, cost per click, click-through rate, conversions, and return on advertising spend.
● Support A/B testing of advertisements, landing pages, creatives, and audience groups.
● Prepare regular campaign performance reports and recommend improvements based on the data.
Social Media Marketing
● Assist in managing RUU AI’s presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, X, and other relevant platforms.
● Create and maintain social media content calendars.
● Draft captions, posts, promotional content, short-form video concepts, and campaign announcements.
● Help publish company updates, product features, customer success stories, educational content, and industry insights.
● Research trending topics, formats, hashtags, and content ideas relevant to AI, technology, SaaS, business automation, and customer service.
● Monitor comments, messages, mentions, and audience engagement.
● Support community-building activities and help improve the company’s online presence.
Job Posting and Recruitment Marketing
● Create and publish job and internship postings across LinkedIn, Indeed, Internshala, job boards, university groups, and relevant online communities.
● Promote open positions through organic social media content and paid campaigns.
● Design recruitment marketing campaigns to attract relevant candidates.
● Draft engaging job advertisements, hiring announcements, and employee-focused content.
● Coordinate with the HR team to understand hiring requirements and target the right candidate audience.
● Track the performance of job postings, including views, clicks, applications, and candidate quality.
● Identify suitable platforms, groups, communities, and colleges for promoting company vacancies.
● Help strengthen RUU AI’s employer brand by highlighting its remote culture, international exposure, startup environment, learning opportunities, and employee experiences.
Content Marketing and Copywriting
● Write marketing content for social media, advertisements, landing pages, emails, job posts, and promotional campaigns.
● Assist in creating blogs, case studies, newsletters, product explainers, and customer-focused content.
● Convert product features into clear, benefit-driven marketing messages.
● Adapt messaging for different audiences, industries, countries, and marketing platforms.
● Collaborate with designers and video editors to develop advertisements, graphics, carousels, reels, and promotional videos.
● Proofread content and ensure consistency in brand tone, grammar, formatting, and messaging.
Lead Generation and Outreach
● Support lead-generation campaigns for RUU AI’s products and services.
● Research potential customers, industries, agencies, and international brands.
● Assist with email marketing, LinkedIn outreach, remarketing, and campaign follow-ups.
● Help build and manage prospect lists using appropriate research and productivity tools.
● Support the creation of lead magnets, forms, landing pages, and conversion-focused campaigns.
● Coordinate with the sales team to understand lead quality and improve campaign targeting.
● Track leads through the marketing and sales funnel.
Website, SEO, and Analytics
● Support basic on-page SEO activities, including keyword research, meta descriptions, headings, and content optimization.
● Assist in analyzing website traffic and user behaviour.
● Gain exposure to tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Analytics, and advertising dashboards.
● Help monitor landing-page performance, campaign conversions, and traffic sources.
● Prepare weekly and monthly marketing reports.
● Identify opportunities to improve traffic, engagement, lead generation, and conversion rates.
International Marketing Exposure
● Support campaigns targeting businesses and brands in the United States and other international markets.
● Research international customer behaviour, competitors, industries, and marketing trends.
● Adapt advertising copy and content for global audiences.
● Gain experience communicating with an internationally distributed team.
● Learn how marketing strategies differ across countries, customer segments, and industries.
● Participate in projects involving international brands, agencies, clients, and business partners.

What We’re Looking For
● Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, Management, Communications, Mass Media, Advertising, or a related field.
● Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
● Basic understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms.
● Interest in paid advertising, content creation, analytics, lead generation, and brand building.
● Comfortable using Google Workspace, spreadsheets, Canva, and basic productivity tools.
● Familiarity with Meta Ads, Google Ads, LinkedIn, SEO, email marketing, or analytics is an advantage but not mandatory.
● Ability to research topics and convert findings into actionable marketing ideas.
● Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple assignments.
● Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
● Willingness to learn, experiment, receive feedback, and take ownership of assigned activities.
● Interest in startups, artificial intelligence, SaaS, technology, and international business is strongly preferred.
