Role Description The Assistant Manager / Senior Engineer – Tendering & Costing role is a full-time hybrid position based in Delhi, India, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The role involves reviewing project specifications and drawings, preparing accurate cost estimates, and developing tender proposals for engineering and infrastructure projects. The individual will coordinate with internal engineering, procurement, and finance teams to gather required inputs, analyze vendor quotations, and ensure competitive and compliant bid submissions. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing BOQs, conducting rate analysis, maintaining costing databases, tracking tender opportunities, and supporting negotiations with clients and vendors. The role also requires preparing technical and commercial documentation, ensuring adherence to company standards and client requirements, and contributing to continuous improvement of tendering and costing processes.

Qualifications

Strong analytical and numerical skills for cost estimation, rate analysis, and preparation of BOQs and tender documents.
Knowledge of tendering processes, contract terms, and commercial evaluation for engineering or infrastructure projects.
Proficiency in MS Excel and other relevant software tools used for costing, data analysis, and documentation.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements, preferably in civil, mechanical, or electrical domains.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and clients.
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneously.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) or a related technical field; a postgraduate or specialized qualification in project management or cost management is an advantage.
Prior experience in tendering, costing, estimation, or proposals engineering within EPC, construction, or related industries is preferred.
Comfort working in a hybrid model, with readiness to attend office and client meetings in Delhi as required.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
