Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Solution Architect / Automation Delivery Lead for a long-term enterprise automation initiative. This role requires a highly skilled professional who can combine strong technical architecture expertise with leadership and delivery management capabilities.

The ideal candidate will lead a team of Solution Architects and Automation Engineers, define technical strategy, drive architectural decisions, and ensure successful delivery across multiple automation workstreams. The successful candidate will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring scalable, secure, and governance-driven automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and guide a team of Solution Architects and Automation Engineers.
Drive end-to-end solution ownership and architectural governance.
Define and communicate technical strategy, standards, and roadmap.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Ensure technical alignment across multiple teams and initiatives.
Support delivery teams by removing technical blockers and mitigating risks.
Establish and promote Automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.
Ensure solution scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability.
Provide hands-on technical guidance whenever required while maintaining overall architectural ownership.
Drive adoption of modern engineering, automation, and platform practices across the organization.

Required Qualifications

Extensive experience as a Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect, Technical Lead, or similar leadership role.
Proven track record of leading architecture, engineering, or automation teams.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience working in large-scale, complex enterprise environments.
Deep understanding of automation, infrastructure, and platform engineering concepts.
Demonstrated experience in driving technical transformation and organizational adoption initiatives.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Preferred Technical Skills

Experience with multiple technologies and disciplines including:

Terraform
Ansible
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
CI/CD Pipelines
DevOps Practices
Microsoft Azure or other Cloud Platforms
Python or similar scripting/programming languages
Automation Frameworks and Governance Models
Platform Engineering
Enterprise Architecture and Solution Design
