Role and Responsibilities
1. Functional & Manual Testing
- Test web applications (React, Next.js, Laravel) and mobile applications (Flutter, Android and iOS) across devices, browsers, and screen sizes
- Perform functional, UI/UX, regression, smoke, and cross-browser/cross-device testing before every release
- Verify that delivered features match the approved design (Figma) and the agreed requirements or SRS
- Test multilingual and RTL (Arabic) layouts, payment flows, forms, and e-commerce journeys where applicable
2. Test Planning & Documentation
- Read requirement documents, user stories, and designs to prepare test scenarios and test cases before development is complete
- Maintain structured test case sheets, test execution logs, and release checklists for every project
- Write clear, reproducible bug reports with steps, expected vs actual results, screenshots or screen recordings, and severity/priority
- Track defects from logging to closure and re-verify fixes before sign-off
3. Release Coordination & Sign-off
- Own the pre-release quality gate: confirm what is tested, what is open, and whether a build is ready to ship
- Coordinate UAT with clients, collect and consolidate their feedback, and convert it into actionable tickets for the team
- Prepare concise QA status summaries for internal stand-ups and client updates
4. Task Tracking & Follow-ups
- Maintain project trackers, task boards, and milestone timelines for the projects being tested
- Follow up with designers and developers on pending fixes, blockers, and deadlines
- Keep meeting notes, action items, and decision logs updated and circulated
- Flag scope changes, timeline risks, and dependency issues early to the project lead
5. Client & Team Communication
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients across India and international markets over email, WhatsApp, and calls
- Translate client feedback into precise technical requirements for the team, and technical constraints into plain language for clients
- Work closely with UI/UX designers, developers, and content teams to keep deliverables on schedule
6. Process & Continuous Improvement
- Suggest improvements to QA checklists, bug-tracking workflows, and release processes
- Stay current with testing tools, mobile/web platform updates, and QA best practices
- Contribute to internal documentation, onboarding material, and reusable test templates
Essential Requirements
- Fresher to 2 years of experience in software testing, QA, or a related technical role (academic projects, internships, or freelance work count)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Solid understanding of the software development life cycle and the testing life cycle (STLC)
- Ability to write structured test cases and clear, reproducible bug reports
- Strong attention to detail with the discipline to test thoroughly rather than quickly
- Strong written and spoken communication skills in English, with the confidence to speak with clients and lead follow-ups
- Naturally organised: comfortable maintaining trackers, checklists, and timelines, and chasing pending items without being reminded
- A sense of ownership — takes responsibility for the quality and timely delivery of the projects assigned, not just the tickets
- Ability to handle multiple client projects and shifting priorities simultaneously
Good to Have
- Exposure to bug-tracking or project tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Trello, Notion, or Google Sheets-based trackers
- Basic familiarity with Figma for comparing builds against designs
- Basic understanding of APIs and tools such as Postman
- Exposure to automation basics (Selenium, Playwright, or similar) or interest in learning them
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum practices
- Experience testing e-commerce, booking, or dashboard-style applications
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
Application Question(s):
- You've found a critical bug the evening before a client demo. The developer says it's not a bug, the client hasn't seen it yet, and the project lead is unreachable. Walk me through exactly what you'd do in the next two hours
- How many years of hands-on experience do you have in software testing or QA (including internships)? Please mention any live projects or apps you have tested
- Are you available to join immediately? If not, what is your notice period or earliest possible joining date
