Full job description

Hiring Now | Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Are you passionate about building scalable automation frameworks and ensuring world-class software quality? We are looking for an experienced SDET who can drive automation, quality engineering, and continuous testing across enterprise applications.

Location: Remote (3–4 Days Onsite per Month as Required)

Employment Type: Contract (C2C)

Experience: 6+ Years

Role Overview

As an SDET, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing robust test automation frameworks, ensuring application quality across UI, APIs, databases, and microservices. You will work closely with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams to enable faster, high-quality software releases.

Key Skills Required

-Test Automation Framework Development

-Selenium / Playwright / Cypress

- API Testing (Rest Assured, Postman)

- Java / C# / Python

- TestNG / JUnit / NUnit

- CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)

- SQL & Database Testing

-Git & Version Control

-Agile & Quality Engineering Practices

Key Responsibilities

✔Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and reusable test components

✔ Create and execute UI, API, Integration, Regression, and End-to-End test suites

✔ Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality validation

✔ Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to define testing strategies and quality standards

✔ Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and drive issue resolution

✔ Improve test coverage, execution efficiency, and overall product reliability

✔ Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

✔ Mentor junior QA engineers and promote automation best practices

Preferred Experience

- Cloud Platforms – AWS, Azure, or GCP

-Docker & Kubernetes

-Performance Testing (JMeter, LoadRunner)

-Microservices & Distributed Systems

-ISTQB or Relevant Testing Certifications
