An ERP Executive manages, supports, and optimizes an organization's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. They act as the bridge between software functionality and daily business operations, ensuring seamless data flow, system configuration, and end-user support.
Key Responsibilities
- System Management: Maintain day-to-day operations of the ERP platform, including data migration, system customization, and updates.
- Functional Support: Troubleshoot errors, manage user access, and provide technical and functional support to employees across departments.
- Data & Reporting: Generate accurate business reports, handle inventory/purchase entries, and ensure data integrity across the organization.
- Training & Onboarding: Create user documentation and train team members on how to properly use the ERP system to minimize operational disruptions.
Typical Qualifications
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a diploma in fields like Mechanical Engineering. Many roles prefer a full-time Master’s degree or an MBA.
- Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, combined with a solid understanding of supply chain, finance, or production workflows.
- Experience: Both fresher and experienced roles are common, with salaries in the region typically ranging from ₹14,000 to ₹18,000 per month for entry-level operators up to higher figures depending on expertise
