Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
Own the end‑to‑end ERP Finance solution landscape covering GL, AR, AP, AA, banking, tax, and controlling (cost centers, profit centers, internal orders, profitability analysis).
Lead finance‑related ERP projects and change initiatives (implementations, rollouts, upgrades, S/4HANA migrations), managing scope, timelines, risks, and budgets.
Translate business requirements from Finance, Controlling, Tax, Treasury, and Business Units into scalable ERP designs and standard global processes.
Provide expert guidance on SAP FICO / S/4HANA Finance configuration, including enterprise structure, GL, AP/AR, asset accounting, tax, bank accounting, and closing activities.
Oversee integration of Finance with MM, SD, PP, HR, and external systems (banks, treasury, consolidation, analytics), ensuring robust end‑to‑end P2P and OTC financial postings.
Define and enforce finance master‑data and control frameworks (chart of accounts, cost centers, profit centers, profit segments, tax codes, house banks) with process and data owners.
Act as design authority and escalation point for complex incidents, month‑end issues, and design decisions; drive root‑cause analysis and lasting remediation.
Define and oversee test strategies (unit, integration, regression, UAT) and cutover plans for finance scope, including opening balances and historical data migration.
Lead and mentor a team of FICO/Finance functional consultants; review solution options, allocate work, and develop internal ERP finance capability.
Partner with Finance leadership to identify digitalization opportunities (faster close, touchless reconciliations, automated allocations, e‑invoicing) and prioritize improvements.
Track key finance KPIs (close cycle time, error rates, automation levels) and drive continuous improvement using ERP and surrounding tools.
Ensure all finance solutions adhere to internal controls, audit, and compliance requirements (IFRS/local GAAP, tax, segregation of duties).
