Unitechica IT Solutions is a growing technology company specializing in web development, WordPress solutions, and digital innovation. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic PHP WordPress Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in real-world web development projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing, maintaining, and customizing WordPress websites.
- Work with PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL to build and improve web applications.
- Customize WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements.
- Troubleshoot website issues and perform bug fixes.
- Optimize website performance, security, and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with designers and senior developers to implement new features.
- Test websites across different devices and browsers.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of PHP and WordPress development.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Familiarity with WordPress themes, plugins, and page builders.
- Knowledge of responsive web design principles.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and work in a team environment.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Git version control.
- Understanding of WordPress hooks, filters, and custom post types.
- Basic knowledge of SEO and website optimization.
- Experience with WooCommerce is a plus.
