ABOUT THE ROLE
We are hiring two Junior Full Stack Developers to join our engineering team and work directly under the guidance of a Senior Full Stack Engineer. This is a full-time role designed for freshers or early-career developers who have a genuine interest in building real products — not just completing assignments. You don't need years of experience; you need solid fundamentals, a hunger to learn, and the discipline to write clean, typed code from day one.
You will be mentored closely, given real responsibilities, and expected to grow fast. If you have built personal projects, contributed to open source, or simply taught yourself TypeScript and React out of curiosity — we want to hear from you.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
› Build and maintain frontend UI components using React and Next.js under the direction of the senior engineer
› Implement UI/UX designs into responsive, well-structured frontend interfaces with attention to detail
› Write TypeScript across both frontend and backend — using types correctly, not just annotating everything as `any`
› Assist in building and maintaining backend APIs using NestJS or Node.js / TypeScript
› Work with databases — write basic queries, understand schema structures, and use an ORM (Prisma or TypeORM) for standard operations
› Learn and apply state management patterns using Redux Toolkit and server-state caching with TanStack Query
› Use Git for version control — branch, commit, and raise pull requests with clear descriptions
› Participate in code reviews, ask questions, take feedback well, and apply learnings quickly
› Gradually take ownership of small features and improvements as you grow in the role
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Core Skills (Required)
› Understanding of TypeScript — you know why types exist and can write basic typed components, functions, and interfaces
› Familiarity with React — hooks (useState, useEffect, useContext), component structure, and props vs. state
› Basic knowledge of Next.js — pages, routing, and how server-side vs. client-side rendering works conceptually
› Ability to read and implement a UI/UX design into working HTML/CSS/component code
› Basic understanding of how REST APIs work — making requests, handling responses, understanding status codes
› Awareness of relational databases — what tables, rows, columns, and basic queries (SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE) mean
› Comfortable with Git basics — clone, commit, push, pull, branch
› Any exposure to NestJS, Express, or a backend framework in TypeScript or Node.js
› Hands-on experience with an ORM — Prisma or TypeORM — even from a personal project
› Basic familiarity with Redux or any state management library
› Any personal or academic projects hosted on GitHub that demonstrate real code
› Exposure to Docker, AWS, or cloud concepts — even theoretically
› Knowledge of Python is a bonus
Mindset & Approach
› You take ownership — you don't wait to be told every next step
› You ask good questions rather than guessing for hours in silence
› You care about code quality and are willing to refactor when needed
› You are comfortable with feedback and treat code reviews as learning opportunities
› You want to grow into a strong full stack engineer — not just complete tasks
