As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining websites and web applications. You will work closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to create responsive, user-friendly, and scalable web solutions that meet business and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
Web Development & Programming
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive websites and web applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Develop front-end user interfaces using modern web technologies.
- Build and maintain back-end functionality, APIs, and database integrations as required.
- Optimize applications for speed, performance, scalability, and security.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues and bugs.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
Project Collaboration
- Work closely with designers, project managers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements.
- Participate in project planning, development, testing, and deployment activities.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver projects within established timelines.
- Provide technical recommendations and contribute ideas for improving products and processes.
- Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions effectively.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Conduct testing and quality assurance to ensure websites function properly.
- Perform code reviews and maintain coding standards.
- Monitor website performance and implement improvements as needed.
- Ensure compliance with accessibility, security, and industry standards.
- Assist with website updates, enhancements, and maintenance tasks.
Learning & Professional Development
- Stay current with emerging web technologies, frameworks, and development trends.
- Participate in training sessions, team meetings, and knowledge-sharing activities.
- Continuously improve technical skills and development practices.
- Take ownership of assigned projects and contribute to team success.
What We're Looking For
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web development principles.
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js is preferred.
- Understanding of back-end technologies such as Node.js, PHP, .NET, Java, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with databases, APIs, and version control systems such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
Previous experience in web development, software development, or a related technical role is preferred. Relevant internships, personal projects, or portfolio work will also be considered. Training and mentorship may be provided for motivated candidates.
