About the Role
We are looking for a Project Manager – Digital Marketing to manage digital marketing projects and client relationships for our US-based clients.
This is a hands-on role for someone who understands both project management and digital marketing execution. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, creative, responsive, and comfortable working across creative, content, social media, SEO, and paid marketing.
You should be able to understand the work at an execution level, provide meaningful feedback, manage teams, communicate confidently with clients, and ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Project Management
- Manage multiple digital marketing projects for US-based clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and maintain strong client relationships.
- Understand client objectives, translate them into actionable project requirements, and ensure timely execution.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, priorities, dependencies, and resources.
- Maintain prompt communication and responsiveness with clients and internal teams.
- Respond to client queries and team requests promptly and ensure action items are followed through.
- Conduct regular client communication, status updates, meetings, and presentations.
- Proactively identify project risks, bottlenecks, and potential delays and resolve them.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to expected quality standards.
Digital Marketing & Creative Oversight
- Work closely with designers, copywriters, content writers, SEO specialists, paid media specialists, and social media teams.
- Have a strong understanding of creative development, copywriting, content writing, and social media marketing.
- Have a working knowledge of SEO and paid advertising/PPC and understand how different digital marketing channels work together.
- Review and provide feedback on creatives, copy, content, social posts, campaigns, and marketing assets.
- Ensure deliverables meet client requirements, brand guidelines, quality standards, and campaign objectives.
- Contribute to campaign strategy, creative concepts, content ideas, and marketing planning.
Team Management
- Coordinate and manage cross-functional marketing teams.
- Assign tasks, establish priorities, track progress, and ensure accountability.
- Provide clear briefs and constructive feedback to team members.
- Ensure team members understand priorities, deadlines, and expectations.
- Follow up proactively to keep projects moving and avoid delays.
- Help team members overcome execution challenges and maintain quality standards.
AI & Innovation
- Stay current with AI tools and emerging technologies relevant to digital marketing.
- Use AI for research, ideation, content development, creative concepts, project management, reporting, and workflow automation.
- Identify opportunities to use AI to improve team productivity, quality, and turnaround times.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4–5 years of experience in digital marketing project/account management, preferably within a marketing or creative agency.
- Proven experience managing US-based clients.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and agency workflows.
- Hands-on experience or strong working knowledge of:
- Creative development
- Copywriting
- Content writing
- Social media marketing
- SEO
- Paid advertising/PPC
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly responsive and prompt in communication and follow-ups.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality standards.
- Experience managing cross-functional marketing teams.
- Strong problem-solving and creative-thinking abilities.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Comfortable working remotely and collaborating with distributed teams.
- Comfortable working with AI tools and adapting to new technologies quickly.
- Ability to work with reasonable overlap with US business hours, as required.
