- Prepare and maintain the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) before, during, and after diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures as per National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH) protocols.
- Assist cardiologists and clinical teams during angiography, angioplasty, pacemaker implantation, electrophysiology studies, and other cardiac procedures while ensuring patient safety and sterile technique.
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot Cath Lab equipment including hemodynamic monitors, contrast injectors, imaging systems, and emergency devices in compliance with biomedical safety standards.
- Ensure proper infection prevention and control practices, radiation safety measures, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) according to hospital and NABH guidelines.
- Verify patient identity, informed consent, pre-procedure checklist, and clinical documentation before initiating procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of procedures, consumables, equipment maintenance logs, radiation exposure data, and inventory as per hospital documentation policies.
- Participate in emergency response and provide basic life support (BLS)/cardiac emergency assistance during complications or code situations within the Cath Lab.
- Coordinate with nursing, biomedical, CSSD, and quality departments for quality assurance activities, equipment calibration, incident reporting, and continuous NABH compliance.
Qualification – Cath Lab Technician
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Cath Lab Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, Operation Theatre Technology, or Allied Health Sciences from a recognized institution.
- Valid certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); ACLS certification preferred.
Experience – Cath Lab Technician
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory in a multispecialty or accredited hospital.
- Experience in assisting angiography, angioplasty, pacemaker implantation, and other interventional cardiac procedures.
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
