Manager – Costing (Cost Accountant)

Location: Bhiwadi, Rajasthan
Experience: 4–6 Years
Qualification: CMA (Preferred) / CMA Inter / CA Inter

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Manager – Costing to oversee Plant Costing, Cost Accounting, Inventory Control, Product Costing, Cost Analysis, and Management Reporting within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical abilities, hands-on factory costing experience, and a thorough understanding of manufacturing cost structures and statutory cost compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain Plant Costing and Product Costing for manufacturing operations.
Prepare and monitor Cost Sheets, Standard Costing, Actual Costing, and Variance Analysis.
Ensure accurate Inventory Management, Stock Reconciliation, and inventory valuation.
Monitor Raw Material Consumption, production costs, and manufacturing overheads to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Prepare Cost MIS Reports, Budget Analysis, profitability reports, and management dashboards.
Conduct Cost Control, Yield Analysis, and operational efficiency reviews.
Coordinate with Production, Stores, Procurement, and Finance teams for accurate cost allocation and reporting.
Ensure compliance with Cost Accounting Standards, statutory cost records, and internal financial controls.
Support budgeting, forecasting, month-end closing activities, and audit requirements.
Recommend and implement initiatives for Cost Optimization and process improvements.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of Cost Accounting, Plant Costing, Inventory Control, and Standard Costing.
Hands-on experience in Manufacturing Cost Analysis, Variance Analysis, and Product Costing.
Proficiency in Advanced MS Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookup Functions, Dashboards, Data Analysis).
Working knowledge of Tally ERP or any ERP software such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred Industry

Manufacturing, FMCG, Food Processing, Edible Oil, Process Manufacturing, Chemicals, or Engineering.

Candidate Profile

4–6 years of relevant experience in Plant/Factory Costing.
CMA preferred; CMA Inter or CA Inter with relevant experience may also apply.
