Position Description

Reporting to Procurement Manager / Head of Procurement, the incumbent will lead and manage procurement functions specialized in system & control and data analysis. He/she supports procurement operation efficiency & control effectiveness in terms of vendor management, record retention, data analysis, KPI performance measurement, system development and process improvement for HX-HKG and other group companies in Hong Kong.

What You'll Do

To build and lead a team of 2 – 3 teammates with high quality of work and value-added services to enhance the procure-to-pay operation efficiency and internal control
To ensure proper corporate governance throughout the procurement activities in a fair, open & impartial way, including policy & procedures compliance and continuous input on any improvement areas
To provide periodic system maintenance to ensure procurement data integrity and security
To assist effective execution of procurement strategies in terms of system & control aspects
To monitor the suppliers’ performance effectively;
To lean the process flow and drive the effectiveness in procurement functions
Act as focal point with IT, Commercial, Material Management and Finance departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration
To conduct data analysis, generate reports and measure performance indicator results etc
To facilitate all procurement related audit exercises and implement effective solutions for audit recommendations
Assist Procurement Manager / Head of Procurement to conduct process improvement projects/studies.
Sustainability in Procurement

What You'll Need

Recognized degree in any disciplines, business / management related is an advantage
Professional qualification in procurement & supply is an advantage
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
To supervise the team with high quality of work and implementation of good procurement practices & control
To resolve operation problems, enhance cross team communication and review team performance
To lead the projects on process improvement and digitalization initiatives
To be actively involved in staff engagement initiatives and people management
To lead various projects for process improvement & sustainability development
Excellent command of English and Chinese, both spoken and written
