Vidya & Child is an NGO working for the past 20 years in Noida to help & bridge the gap for those who need education and have no access to the facilities for learning existing in our society. We work across 4 centres in Noida and 1 in Siwan, Bihar.
Vidya & Child has a School Education program for Nursery to Class 8 catering to close to 1600 children and an After School Support Programme with an outreach of over 350 children from Class VI to Class XII and beyond (in regular or open schooling or graduation). The programme involves academic and financial support to children for their school education.
A very strong parent programme exists so that as a team the parent and Vidya & Child can support a child through school and help him/ her finish school education. Our Arts & Performing Arts and Life Skills programme cater to all children from Nursery to class XII.
Admin department is the backbone of any organization. Similarly in Vidya & Child too, it is an integral part of the organization and supports each centre and programme towards fulfilling its objective of “exploring uniqueness in each child”.
IT is an integral part of functioning of all our programmes academic or otherwise. Each centre has a fully functional Computer Lab where children are exposed to digital content as per their class and subjects. Besides this, we also utilize projectors and screens for workshops across different programmes. IT is also a key focus area for the organization to ensure reporting, monitoring and tracking of all our programmes.

Responsibilities and Duties
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Relationship building with all centres and programmes
- Assist with preparation of the budget and managing the expenses in accordance to the budget
- Implement policies and procedures
- Assist with the annual audit
- Vendor management - identification, negotiation & AMC contracts
- Vendor bill and payment processing
- Reconciliation of Vendor accounts and Bill files
- Procurement of Capital Assets and other material purchases
- Maintenance and repair of all Capital Assets, equipment and infrastructure
- Requisitioning and procuring Textbooks, Workbooks and Stationery / supplies and keep record of the inventory.
- Manage the Photocopy requirements for centres
- Manage the Transport requirements of the organization
- Manage the facilities - Electricity, Communication requirements (telephone, Internet),Printing & Courier etc
- Manage Archiving of Material related to Photograph / Video / Registers / Events / Training / Other material as required
- Managing the Computer Labs.
- Manage the repair and maintenance of all Desktops, Laptops and related items.
- Organizing and Co-ordinating all internal and external events
- Manage the filing, storage and security of documents
- Keep track on all warranty, guarantee and insurance details for all assets and equipments
- Ensuring periodic and routine maintenance of all office equipment including records of AMCs.
- Report generation and compilation of reports
- Ensuring a clean and comfortable working environment for the office and centres
- Assist all employees in the Administration related tasks and any other task assigned by the supervisor.
- Respond to internal & external requests and inquiries
- Perform other related duties as required

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
Qualification & Experience
- A Bachelor Degree with proficiency in Computer skills At least 8 - 10 years of work experience in a reputed organization in respective areas.
- Demonstrated experience or qualifications in office administration.
- Demonstrated computer competency in word processing, spreadsheets, data bases, email.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate with people from a broad range of backgrounds.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills.
- Ability to plan in advance and be able to track his tasks efficiently
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to achieve goals.
- Ability to manage a team and help them formulate plans, track their work progress and meet deadlines while ensuring quality.
- Willingness to learn, initiative, and ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Well developed interpersonal skills.
