- Accountable executive for providing overall direction and oversight of the strategy, development, implementation, and administration of information assurance and security policies, plans, and controls that will protect competitive corporate information.
- Develops and executes security risk, audit and incident management, disaster recovery and business continuity plans across the organization to ensure continuity of business operations and supporting technologies
- Industry Expertise in digital and security technologies, processes, systems, and approaches that not only protect and defend, but also enable aggressive, next-generation, innovative and secure approaches to the most exciting and cutting-edge technology initiatives in the industry
- Collaborates with business leadership and other technology teams to develop long term plans and objectives, incorporating security
- Develops and leads an effective, efficient and collaborative Information Security posture and set of processes that insures balanced approach to risk management and security investments that are business-focused, well-coordinated, and enable balanced business and technology objectives;
- Drives for results-focus and high-performance organization, including developing metrics/KPIs, SLAs, OLAs and continuous improvements programs to deliver transparency and accountability
- Reviews ongoing performance of staff, and ensures appropriate succession planning.
- M.Tech or B.Tech / B.E./BCA in Computer Science or Information Technology
- Candidate with Security & Compliance certification (CISA, CISM, ISO 27001 LA, etc.) will have added advantage
- Total 10-12 years of experience as a security professional & last 2-3 years as CISO
- Expert in security technologies, processes, systems and approaches, including cryptography and global industry security standards, such as ISO 27001, ISO 22301, PCI DSS, SSAE16, etc.
- In-depth knowledge of best practices and trends of IT
- Ability to form and maintain business relationships and partnerships with external vendors to drive successful technology solutions;
- Ability to achieve outcomes through influence rather than direct authority
- Sound management skills, strong leadership and motivational skills
- Should be an effective communicator and good presentation skills.
- Should have mentoring capabilities.
- Should be strong in building relationships within the organization and across teams.
- Should be able to showcase strong connects within the vendor community and industry peers.
