Job Description & Responsibility
You will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining an effective Compliance framework within the Organization. As Compliance Counsel your role will be to support Compliance Leadership:
- Develop training content/ modules on laws and organise trainings for business
- Preparing presentation and communication for dissemination across Company
- Research on legal changes, impact analysis, provide compliance solutions/ advisories, and coordinate with business to ensure compliance
- Provide pro-active Compliance support and advise to the business
- Conduct Compliance audits, report out the concern / improvement areas, coordinate with business to monitor their closure
- Participate and lead various Compliance initiatives like Compliance awareness across Company
- Identify non-compliances and work on closure of the non-compliances by coordination with other functions
- Address any legal notices, filing to government and seeking statutory approvals from regulatory authorities
- Identify emerging Compliance trends, including related regulatory and policy issues impacting business’ Compliance readiness and make appropriate recommendations
- Evaluate, design, develop, update and roll out Company Compliance policies, SOP, and Processes; map Company Compliance policies/ procedures against legal requirements.
Work Experience:
2-5 years
In Compliance team of industries in manufacturing sector with following skills:
1. knowledge of industrial and labour laws,
2. Advising business solutions on Compliance
3. Audit skills
4. Powerpoint making
5. Legal research skills
6.memo writing
