Job Description – TGT Sanskrit
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic TGT Sanskrit teacher to teach students at the Middle and Secondary levels (up to Class X). The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of Sanskrit language and literature, with the ability to make learning engaging, interactive, and meaningful. The teacher will play an important role in developing students’ language proficiency, grammatical accuracy, pronunciation, and appreciation of India’s rich cultural and literary heritage.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Sanskrit effectively at the Middle and Secondary level as per the prescribed curriculum.
- Plan and deliver well-structured lessons using innovative and student-centred teaching strategies.
- Develop students’ skills in reading, writing, speaking, grammar, vocabulary, translation, and comprehension.
- Assess, record, and monitor students’ progress through regular assignments, class tests, projects, and examinations.
- Create an engaging classroom environment that encourages active participation and a love for learning Sanskrit.
- Provide academic support and constructive feedback to students and maintain effective communication with parents regarding student progress.
- Organize and participate in language-related activities, cultural programmes, competitions, and school events.
- Participate in school meetings, examinations, and professional development programmes while adhering to school policies and safety norms.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate/Post Graduate degree in Sanskrit or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (mandatory).
- Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in a recognized school is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong command over Sanskrit language, grammar, literature, and pedagogy.
- Proficiency in Hindi and English for effective communication and classroom instruction.
- Excellent pronunciation, communication, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to use technology and creative teaching aids to enhance language learning.
- Passion for promoting Sanskrit language, literature, and Indian cultural values through engaging and student-friendly teaching practices.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
