We're Hiring | Senior Graphic Designer / Creative Director

Kalidioscope is looking for a Senior Graphic Designer / Creative Director to lead our design team and shape the creative direction for some of India's most recognized brands across government and private sectors.

This is not just another design role. It is a leadership position for someone who can think strategically, inspire a team, and consistently deliver outstanding creative work under demanding timeline. Please read the below details thoroughly before applying.

Roles & Responsibilities

As the Senior Graphic Designer / Creative Director, you will be responsible for leading the creative vision of the agency while ensuring every piece of communication meets the highest standards of design, strategy, and execution.

Creative Leadership

Lead, mentor, and inspire the design team while fostering a culture of creativity and accountability.
Establish and maintain creative standards across all client deliverables.
Translate marketing objectives into compelling visual concepts and campaigns.
Review, refine, and approve all creative outputs before they are shared with clients.
Drive innovation by introducing fresh ideas, design trends, and creative approaches.

Design & Brand Development

Lead the conceptualization and execution of branding, visual identity systems, and campaign creatives.
Design for digital platforms including social media, websites, online advertisements, presentations, and performance marketing campaigns.
Create print-ready artwork for brochures, annual reports, event collaterals, outdoor media, exhibition panels, and corporate communication.
Ensure consistency in brand language across multiple touchpoints.

Team Management

Allocate work effectively across designers based on project priorities and timelines.
Mentor junior and mid-level designers to improve their creative and technical capabilities.
Conduct regular design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain quality control while ensuring projects are delivered on time.

Client & Project Management

Participate in client meetings to understand briefs and present creative concepts.
Collaborate closely with strategy, content, social media, performance marketing, web, and production teams.
Handle multiple high-value clients and projects simultaneously.
Manage tight deadlines without compromising creative quality.

Technical Expertise

Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDraw, and other relevant creative tools.
Stay updated with emerging design technologies, AI-assisted creative tools, and industry best practices.
Guide the team in adopting efficient workflows and creative processes.

Strategic Thinking

Develop campaign concepts that align with client objectives and business goals.
Understand audience behaviour, market trends, and communication strategies to create impactful creative solutions.
Contribute to pitch presentations, business proposals, and new business opportunities.

Preferred Experience

Minimum 8 years of experience in a creative or advertising agency.
Proven experience leading design teams.
Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in branding, digital communication, integrated campaigns, and print design.
Experience handling Government of India campaigns and public sector communication will be a strong advantage.
Experience working with established national or international private brands is preferred.
