Job Summary:
- We are seeking a Trainee Quality Assurance (Fresher - 1 year) to join our QA team. As an entry-level QA Engineer, you will be responsible for testing applications, identifying bugs, and collaborating with the development team to improve software quality.
Responsibilities:
- Execute assigned test cases under supervision.
- Perform manual and exploratory testing for web and mobile applications.
- Identify, document, and report defects using defect-tracking tools.
- Assist senior QA members in understanding product requirements.
- Maintain proper test documentation such as test cases and reports.
- Communicate testing progress, issues, and observations clearly.
- Participate in QA training sessions and learning activities.
- Follow defined QA processes, standards, and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent.
Requirements:
- Basic familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira or similar).
- Basic understanding of manual testing concepts.
- Awareness of API testing concepts (tools like Postman – exposure preferred).
- Willingness to learn QA tools, processes, and methodologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively with development and QA teams.
