Role Overview -
Thalassa Siolim is seeking a seasoned hospitality professional to lead one of Goa’s most iconic dining and entertainment destinations. This role demands a deeply experienced individual who understands high-volume, multi-department operations and can seamlessly balance guest experience, team leadership and financial performance.
The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end operations of a large-format restaurant. This is a leadership role that requires operational discipline, calm decision-making and a strong presence on the floor.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership -
. Oversee daily operations across all departments ensuring smooth, efficient and high-quality service delivery
. Maintain consistent guest experience aligned with Thalassa’s brand standards
. Lead service during peak hours with strong floor presence and real-time decision-making. Ensure all SOPs are implemented, monitored and continuously improved
Team Management -
. Lead and supervise a large, diverse team including:
Floor Managers, Operations Manager, Captains, Stewards, Bartenders, Bar Managers, Kitchen Team, Pastry Section, Baristas, Housekeeping, Artists/Entertainment Staff, HR, Accounts, Purchase & Cashiers
. Drive accountability, discipline and team culture across departments
. Conduct regular training, performance reviews and team briefings
. Ensure strong coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house teams
Financial & Commercial Oversight -
. Take ownership of P&L performance, cost controls and profitability
. Monitor daily sales, wastage, inventory and labour costs
. Work closely with accounts and purchase teams to maintain financial discipline
. Identify opportunities to improve margins without compromising guest experience
Vendor & Supply Chain Management -
. Manage relationships with key vendors and suppliers
. Ensure timely procurement, quality control and cost efficiency
. Oversee inventory systems and prevent leakages or shortages
Compliance & Administration -
. Ensure adherence to all statutory, licensing and safety regulations
. Maintain hygiene, sanitation and audit standards across the property
. Coordinate with HR on staffing, payroll inputs and compliance
Guest Experience & Brand Standards -
. Uphold Thalassa’s reputation for exceptional hospitality
. Handle guest feedback and escalations with professionalism
. Continuously enhance the overall dining and entertainment experience
Qualifications & Experience -
. Minimum 10+ years of experience in hospitality, with significant exposure to high-volume restaurants, beach clubs, or destination venues
. Proven experience managing large teams and complex operations
. Strong understanding of restaurant financials, P&L management and cost controls
. Demonstrated ability to lead during high-pressure service environments
. Experience in Goa or similar hospitality markets is highly preferred
. Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
