Job Summary

Antalya Hotel Rishikesh is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to oversee all engineering and maintenance operations of the hotel. The ideal candidate must hold a relevant engineering degree and have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the hospitality or related industry. The role requires strong technical expertise, particularly in Electrical systems and HVAC operations, along with leadership and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Engineering & Maintenance department.
Ensure proper functioning, maintenance, and repair of all electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire & safety systems.
Maintain preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for all hotel equipment and facilities.
Supervise and train maintenance staff to ensure high performance and safety standards.
Monitor energy consumption and implement energy-saving initiatives.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and statutory requirements.
Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for major repairs and annual maintenance contracts.
Prepare and manage the engineering department budget.
Respond promptly to emergencies and guest maintenance requests.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of Electrical systems and HVAC systems.
Good understanding of building management systems (BMS), fire & life safety systems.
Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and organizational abilities.

Preferred Skills

Experience in hotel engineering operations.
Knowledge of energy conservation practices.
Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies efficiently.
