Job Summary
The Sales & Marketing Executive will be responsible for generating business opportunities, developing customer relationships, promoting the company's products and services, and achieving sales targets. The role requires proactive market development, customer engagement, and coordination with internal teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Activities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in target industries.
- Generate leads through market research, networking, referrals, and customer visits.
- Conduct product presentations and technical discussions with prospective customers.
- Prepare and submit commercial proposals, quotations, and tender documents.
- Follow up on inquiries, negotiations, and order closures.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Maintain regular communication with existing customers to identify repeat business opportunities.
- Coordinate with design, engineering, production, and service teams to ensure timely project execution.
Marketing Activities
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility.
- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, seminars, and industry events.
- Conduct market intelligence activities to identify industry trends and competitor strategies.
- Support digital marketing initiatives, including website updates, social media, and email campaigns.
- Prepare marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, and product catalogs.
- Maintain and update customer databases and CRM records.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
- Address customer queries and provide timely solutions.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Gather customer feedback and communicate market requirements to management.
Reporting and Documentation
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
- Track sales pipelines, opportunities, and forecast revenue.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotations, and orders.
- Provide regular updates to management regarding market developments and business opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- MBA in Marketing will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in Sales & Marketing, preferably in manufacturing, industrial automation, engineering services, or capital equipment industries.
- Experience in B2B sales and customer relationship management is preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
- Knowledge of industrial products, manufacturing processes, or engineering solutions.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and provide suitable solutions.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits and business development activities.
