We're Hiring | Computing & AI Educator | CherYsh Trust | Hubli-Dharwad & Devanahalli, Karnataka
Some careers pay the bills. This one changes the trajectory of a child's future.
We're looking for passionate Computing & AI Educators to bring coding and artificial intelligence to first-generation learners and children from marginalized rural communities — bridging the digital divide where it matters most.
About the Role
As an AI Shiksha Educator, you'll teach foundational computer science and AI to students in Grades 6–10, design hands-on learning experiences, and train local facilitators to build lasting digital confidence in rural classrooms. Whether you're an experienced teacher or a motivated graduate ready to launch a career in social impact, this is your chance to make technology accessible at the grassroots level.
What You'll Do
Curriculum & Teaching
- Design and deliver engaging CS & AI modules — including Scratch, Python, and foundational AI tools — for Classes 6–10
Hands-on Learning
- Create project-based activities, interactive workshops, and mini-hackathons that spark curiosity and problem-solving
Facilitator Mentorship
- Train and mentor local teachers to build sustainable digital teaching capacity in rural schools
Program Implementation
- Help set up digital learning environments and ensure smooth day-to-day delivery of the AI Shiksha program
Student Innovation
- Guide students as they build their own digital projects, apps, and creative AI solutions
Who We're Looking For
Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Computer Applications, IT, Engineering, or a related technical field
Fresh graduates and experienced professionals both welcome — teaching experience is a plus, not a must
Strong programming fundamentals, especially Python and Scratch
Genuine enthusiasm for AI toolkits, prompt engineering basics, and digital education
The ability to turn complex tech concepts into fun, relatable lessons for young learners
Empathy, patience, and a real passion for working with rural and first-generation students
Why Join Us?
Be at the forefront of digital education transformation for underserved communities
Own and shape a program from the ground up — not just deliver someone else's curriculum
Work in a purpose-driven, supportive NGO culture alongside a passionate team
Real growth path into leadership or program design roles as we scale
