Job Summary:

We are looking for an energetic and customer-focused Cafe Server & Smoothie Maker to join our dynamic team. In this dual role, you will be the face of our cafe, greeting guests with a warm smile, taking orders, and crafting our famous smoothies and drinks. The ideal candidate is a multitasking pro who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Server:

Greet customers warmly as they enter the cafe and provide them with menus.
Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, making recommendations and answering questions about our menu items.
Process payments using our POS (Point of Sale) system, handling cash and credit card transactions with precision.
Ensure all front-of-house areas, including tables and seating, are clean, tidy, and welcoming.
Deliver orders to customers with a positive attitude, ensuring they have everything they need.
Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of our menu, including ingredients, allergens, and preparation methods.

As a Smoothie Maker / Barista:

Prepare and craft a variety of beverages, including smoothies, juices, coffee, and teas, according to our recipes and quality standards.
Wash, chop, and prep fruits, vegetables, and other ingredients.
Operate blenders, juicers, espresso machines, and other cafe equipment safely and effectively.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked beverage station.
Monitor inventory of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when stock is low.
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and healthy environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Previous experience in a customer service, food service, or hospitality role is highly preferred (e.g., server, barista, cashier).
A friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine passion for customer service.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Strong multitasking and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
A team player with a positive and can-do attitude.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Food Handler's Certificate is a plus, but not required upon hiring (must be willing to obtain).
