About the Role
Avis Pharma Care Private Limited is looking for an experienced and highly creative Content Manager who can take complete ownership of the company’s content function.
The ideal candidate should have excellent content skills, strong creative thinking, and proven experience in team management and content strategy. The candidate must be capable of understanding the vision, ideas and requirements of senior management and translating them into clear, impactful and high-quality content across different platforms.
The role requires someone who can lead a content team, maintain quality standards, manage timelines and ensure that every content requirement is delivered accurately and effectively.
Key Responsibilities1. Content Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with the company’s brand, business objectives and marketing goals.
- Create monthly and weekly content plans and calendars.
- Understand business requirements and convert them into actionable content ideas.
- Plan content across social media, websites, campaigns, advertisements, blogs, videos and other digital platforms.
- Ensure consistency in brand voice, messaging and communication.
2. Understanding Senior Management’s Vision
- Work closely with the Director/Management to understand their thoughts, ideas, expectations and business vision.
- Convert discussions, ideas and verbal inputs into clear and compelling content.
- Proactively understand what management wants to communicate and suggest the best way to present it.
- Take ownership of content requirements instead of waiting for detailed instructions.
- Ensure that the final content reflects the company’s vision and expectations accurately.
3. Content Creation & Quality
- Lead the creation of high-quality, engaging and relevant content.
- Review and approve content before publishing.
- Maintain high standards of grammar, creativity, accuracy, relevance and brand consistency.
- Develop content for:
- Social media
- Website
- Blogs and articles
- Campaigns
- Advertisements
- Video scripts
- Reels
- Product/service communication
- Marketing campaigns
- Corporate communication
- Ensure content is audience-focused, engaging and aligned with campaign objectives.
4. Team Management
- Lead, manage and mentor the content team.
- Allocate tasks based on individual team members’ strengths and capabilities.
- Set clear deadlines and ensure timely delivery.
- Review team output and maintain content quality.
- Conduct regular team discussions and provide constructive feedback.
- Build a collaborative, creative and accountable team environment.
- Ensure the team understands the company’s requirements and priorities.
- Manage workload and timelines effectively to avoid delays.
5. Coordination With Other Teams
- Coordinate closely with the Marketing, Performance Marketing, Creative, Design, Video and Social Media teams.
- Ensure content is delivered on time for campaigns and marketing activities.
- Work with the performance marketing team to develop conversion-focused ad copies and campaign messaging.
- Coordinate with designers and video teams to ensure content and creative execution are aligned.
- Ensure all teams are working with the same brand messaging and communication direction.
6. Content Performance & Optimization
- Monitor content performance across relevant platforms.
- Identify which topics, formats and messaging generate better engagement and results.
- Use performance insights to improve future content.
- Stay updated with current content trends, audience behaviour and digital platforms.
- Experiment with new content formats and creative approaches.
7. Content Calendar & Execution
- Maintain and manage the overall content calendar.
- Ensure all planned content is delivered according to schedule.
- Track pending content, approvals and publishing requirements.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders for timely approvals.
- Ensure there are no gaps or unnecessary delays in content execution.
Required Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong creative and strategic thinking.
- Excellent command of English; knowledge of Hindi/Hinglish will be an advantage.
- Strong editing and proofreading skills.
- Ability to understand complex requirements and convert them into simple, effective communication.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent coordination and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good understanding of social media and digital marketing.

Experience Required
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in Content Management, Content Strategy, Digital Content or a similar role.
- Previous experience managing a content team is strongly preferred.
- Experience working closely with founders, directors or senior management will be an advantage.
- Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, dermatology, skincare, beauty, wellness or related industries will be preferred.
