JOB DESCRIPTION:
An Interior Project Manager plans, executes, and closes interior fit-out projects for residential, commercial, or hospitality spaces. You’re the bridge between design, clients, vendors, and site teams - owning budget, timeline, and quality from concept to handover.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning & Coordination
- Scope & BOQ: Review drawings, understand client brief, finalize Bill of Quantities with designers
- Scheduling: Create detailed project timelines
- Budgeting: Prepare project budget, track costs, approve POs, manage cash flow and variations
- Vendor Management: Source and onboard contractors - carpenters, civil, MEP, HVAC, furniture vendors
2. Execution & Site Management
- Site Supervision: Daily site visits to monitor progress, quality
- Team Leadership: Manage junior site engineers, supervisors, and labor, carpenters
- Quality Control: Ensure workmanship meets design specs, brand standards, and IS codes
- Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot site problems any, incoordination with factory team , designers & carpenters
3. Client & Stakeholder Management
- Client Communication: Weekly progress reports, site walkthroughs, manage expectations and changes
- Coordination: Liaise with designers, production team
- Approvals: Get timely sign-offs on materials, drawings, samples etc.,
4. Commercial & Documentation
- Procurement: Float RFPs, negotiate with vendors, ensure on-time material delivery
- Billing: Certify contractor RA bills, track client invoicing, handle variation orders
- Documentation: Maintain as-built drawings, handover docs, warranties, snag lists
- Closure: Final snagging, client handover , project close-out report, collect satisfaction letter
